Just a quick news update, we had a bit of web upset over the last week, mainly due to our team of elite elves breaking out of the basement and finding some Alcopops! They have obviously been beaten with the very largest (and sharpest) of our beating sticks and the website should be stable again.
However none of this affected the stream or IRC. Fridays darkness is storming forward and starting to gain quite a reputation for itself (Choon in for youself!) and the Sunday selection was needed by quite a few of our more hard core party people, to help them land safely :)
Keep on being dirty!

Welcome to Friday, its been a looong week if your anywhere near the current heatwave, luckily Neuralnet has been as usual locked in the freezer all week so he is icey fresh for his set tonight!
Lots of very usefull things going on in IRC, the funny pics section is going on a storm (type !dirtyhelp in the channel for full list of commands).

Morning/Evening all,
Its been a hectic weekend on the DirtyBass Stream! Some great sets and I really mean that! Friday night was a stomper (thats not the word is it? anyway lots of listeners and a great sets) All topped off with much lovelyness on the Sundays selection from our very chilled sunday crew.
My Advice choon in when you can, you never know who is going to playing! (no offence to AutoDJ)

It's FRIDAY which means it's the WEEKEND, a time for jollity and frivolity ! It also means it's a time for some sick choons and probably use of a poison of your choice to get you in party mood..
Neural will be spinning some acid techno during the day and playing his usual 10pm-2am slot tonight all being well. Adiktd is mixing it up right now, you never who's gonna take to take over... Best keep it locked in I reckon, then you don't miss out !
We're celebrating Adi getting a new ISP - YAY ! No more cappage & a fat upload.. Nice! Plenty of mixing from you then dude?! :) Laters...

Well its not exactly news, but I am off on holidays till Tuesday! Thats right actualy booked holiday and not a few days off because I have had some disaster!
A little update on whats happening with your dirtyiest radio station, Neuralnet is putting together more DJ fun, so if you want a slot (ooerr) contact him in IRC.
There have been a lot of non-schedule sets recently, so its always worth chooning in you never know who might be playing!
New bot commands as well, some fun, some informational (is that a word?)

News Update! It looks like the networking problems we have had over the past 48hrs are now cured. Our hosting firm finally admitted it was their fault and sorted the problem!
A meeting of the DBFM board went ahead last night and just before the police broke it up, it was decided rather than try and move Australia closer to the DBFM servers, we will lower the bitrate furter of the low stream. Enjoy it, our muffled follwers of dirty bass!

Do you think sound range is a over rated concept?
Do you wish sometimes dirtybass.fm could be streamed to you like it was playing in a swimming pool?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then today is your lucky day!!!
Choon into the new low bit rate stream, its OGG and around 48k (VBR) should work on most devices (works on my phone well enough, Coreplayer for WM6).
I have set it up so its a transcoded stream, so that means all the work is done by the server and not our luvely DJ's. Nows its done please tell me if you a special requirement for a stream and I will set it up!
